Construction Management arrangements have become more common as
projects become more complex with aggressive schedules. In
Construction Management Approach, the Client and Construction
Manager both agree on cost details.
Construction Management arrangements provide less initial cost
certainty, but the Construction Manager acts as the client’s agent and
solely in the best interests of the client and project from the outset.
Contractually, Column Erect will manage all trades from start to finish
with coordination. We will hold each individual contract (same as
general contracting), with full transparency for the client/design team
into all subcontractor and vendor costs through the bidding, buy out and
award processes.
Column Erect will competitively bid all aspects of the project to ensure that we are obtaining the cost effective price for each trade. This method gives significantly more transparency into all project costs and allows the possibility of a shared returned savings to the Client for any costs that come in under the project budget
